Social Security Disability

When a person becomes unable to work because of a serious injury or illness, and it appears that he or she will not be able to work for at least one year, then that person should file an application for social security disability benefits as soons as possible. We explain how to do that here. Once the application has been filed, the Social Security Administration will consider the claim and make a decision. Often, that decision is a denial of the claim. In those instances, an appeal will be needed. It is our recommendation that consultation with us is most appropriate at that point. It is imperitive that action be taken quickly, because the time limit for filing an appeal is very short.

There is no charge for us to review your claim and advise you whether we think we can help you win. At that point, we will discuss the necessary fee arrangements, which often are dependent upon whether we are successful in helping you win your benefits.
